The Creek On The Way To School
9×12 inches
Comes in a 13×16 inch white mat with acid free backing
Oil pastel on paper
The story behind this painting is that one day we were driving to school, and we saw this sunrise. During this season, I always carried my proper camera with me in the car as you never know when you’re going to see a heron or an osprey, etc. I had just taught the boys the concept of “the golden hour” and how it was really great for photographers to take photos at that time of day. Well, they spotted it over the marsh as we were driving to school one morning and insisted that we pull over and take some photos. This painting is a reminder of the little moments shared with the special people in our lives. I will always remember taking the time to slow down and share that moment with my precious boys.
